James Young Esq

An experienced litigator with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Young has tried numerous cases to juries, to the bench, and has also participated in numerous arbitrations.  Mr. Young’s trial experience includes trials and arbitrations in construction defect, wrongful termination of employment contracts, landlord/tenant disputes, real estate failure to disclose litigation, breach of contract, business disputes, personal injury, collections, probate and estate matters, and corporate sale disputes.


Mr. Young has participated as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous mediations and has conducted mediations privately and through Jefferson County Mediation Services.  Mr. Young’s experience gives him a unique perspective on the impact of litigation on the client and counsel financially and emotionally.  This perspective aids in communicating with counsel and parties to assist the parties in resolving conflicts judicially and economically.
